Egypt has been blessed with a great reserve of phosphate ore that is the source of the element phosphorous which is one of the most essential elements for the existence of life on Earth.

Phosphorous in the form of phosphate is one of the macro-elements (Nitrogen - Phosphorous - Potassium) needed for plant growth. Long time ago, farmers were concerned about Nitrogen fertilizers only for the cultivation of their crops but with the advancement of science it has been confirmed that phosphorous plays an important role in the normal growth of the plants and consequently increases the yield and productivity of the farmers.

With the increase of the number of population across the globe, the need of phosphorous will inevitably be a must to feed the increasing demand of the nations.

Egypt is considered one of the largest exporters of phosphate rock in the world . Nevertheless, the need to add substantial value to the Egyptian mineral resources has to be done by processing this treasure to high analysis products .

WAPHCO has done all the efforts to make this dream come true and to literally convert dust to gold backed up with wise management and the great experience of its team who have the faith and dedication to reach the long sought goal.
